Eaton / Vickers identification
Eaton cartridge valves — legacy designations
The legacy designation is the starting point for identifying the exact version.
Information needed for verification
Send the part number, model code and circuit diagram. Selection considers function, cavity, port layout, pressure, flow and seals. Matching threads or dimensions do not prove interchangeability.

Do not infer a replacement from an abbreviated name
If the nameplate is illegible, photographs of the component, the machine circuit and connection dimensions can help. Check the proposed replacement against the required function and operating conditions.
