Does the nameplate say
Eaton or Vickers?

Identify the complete pump, valve or motor version. Compare older documentation with the current range and prepare an enquiry for the correct part.

An older name is a useful starting point

Danfoss acquired the Eaton Hydraulics business in 2021. The industrial Vickers portfolio is now presented as Vickers by Danfoss.

Earlier designations remain on machines and in documentation. Preserve them exactly, including the part number and design series. A change of brand does not mean that every older component has a direct replacement.

Three steps to a useful enquiry

01

Read the full designation

Photograph the complete nameplate. Record the model code, part number and any additional version markings.

Check the part number index
02

Compare the function and interfaces

Selection includes the circuit, ratings, mounting and controls. A similar housing or series name is not enough.

Information to compare
03

Establish the current version

Send the designation and machine details. Availability and suitability of a specific version are confirmed individually.
